The Oregon Coast

Life in Oregon's Bay Area.

photography by Patricia Davidson PhotographyThe safe, quaint communities of Coos Bay, North Bend and Charleston are located on the Pacific coast of Oregon, approximately 110 miles north of the California border and approximately 115 miles southwest of Eugene, the state’s third largest city.

Coos Bay is Oregon’s largest natural deep water port. The area’s marine climate is mild throughout the year, which means you can enjoy the region’s many amenities any time you choose. As you venture across the historic McCullough Bridge via Highway 101, the number of things to see and places to go is unlimited: from antique shops to restaurants and coffee houses, to boat tours against the backdrop of a blazing Pacific Northwest sunset.
