Ok this last Thursday was my group's bakesale and it was lots of fun. My team constructed a menu for the sale collected all the formulas for said menu and were given half of the class who were our "employees". As managers we had to come up with job descriptions for each person, delegate duties accordingly, such who was going to make what product, and advertise the event. All profits go to the local food bank and I'm glad to say we pretty well. We had $143.00 after costs that is all going to the food bank. And that is just our team.
For the next four weeks there is going to be a bakesale once a week from 11-3 hosted by the morning baking and pastry class, and then I think it's twice a week for the evening class but I'm not sure of the times. The sales will be on Thursdays and Fridays for the most part and I'm sure if you come by the school more information will be available.
BTW thank you to everyone who came by and helped the bakesale to be a success we hope to see you in the following weeks. and thankyou to my "employees" the goods were great this week
