I have found out something awesome just a little while ago. Bananas come in red. When I first saw them I was reminded of a joke by one of my favorite comedians, Mitch Hedberg. "You ever notice that bananas are the opposite of stop lights? With stop lights red means stop, yellow means slow down and green means go ahead. With bananas though green means stop, yellow means go ahead and red means where the hell did you get that banana?"

Seriously though, I found red bananas, and they are awesome. This kind of stuff makes my day, and since bananas come in bunches I can safely say this made my week. They taste sweeter then their yellow counterparts and have a slightly less pronounced flavor. Oh also, the innards are not red, sadly. That's ok though, the novelty more than made up for the lack of color coordination.
