Let Them Eat Cake


This whole cake decorating thing has finally drawn to a close. Now I can finally go back to cakes that taste good, still look good and don't take a week to make. I cannot describe how much I am looking forward to this. I know the next term is even more challenging with its bake sale projects and things of the same nature, but I feel like I will enjoy that much more.

I am even excited about our final tomorrow not having anything to do with fondant, gum paste or royal icing. Instead I get to make chiffon cake, Italian butter cream and banana bread. Also spritz cookies but I am not looking forward to that, but still. Not to mention the week break afterwards, that's always nice.
