I have thought of a great idea for a baked item at the bakery, and it has been making me hungry for almost a full week now. I would have made it by now but it requires some preparation and it is only just now coming into fruition. The beginnings of something epic are currently sitting right next to me, making me even more excited about it. This week it will become baked potato bread.

The preparation I was talking about was making a potato sourdough starter. My idea is to make a potato sourdough bread and fill it with baked potato fixings. Bacon, onions, cheddar and chives. The outside will even be egg washed so it will look like a baked potato when its finished. Maybe its not as awesome to some people, but for some reason it is really quite exciting to me. I will report on how this turns out next week.
