This week I will be attempting to make a star wars cake. More specifically, a millennium falcon cake. This is going to be a particularly difficult challenge because almost nothing I have learned from the previous week of cake decorating can be applied here. What little information I could find was not very helpful.

Laying the fondant on could prove to be quite a challenge, as will making the cake be visually interesting, instead of just appearing to lay flat. I have seen a few pictures of the same kind of cake that was somehow suspended in midair, which was cool but almost impossible for me to do. Hopefully it won't be impossible for me to achieve a similar effect. With enough planning I think I just might be able to pull off a decent looking cake.
