So around nine months ago the Oregon Coast Culnary Institute was full of freshly scrubbed timid faces. In the beggining, things may have seemed awkward. However, when people spend ridiculous amounts of time with one another, they get very comfortable very quickly. It didn't take long for special cliques to form and wild shenanigans to take place.
Here we are all this time later, Summer term is here and we only have eight more weeks in the Coos. These last eight weeks are going to be the most adventurous and inspiring time at OCCI. We are going to prepare ourselves to go out, go forth and be successful in the culinary industry. We have been surrounded by amazing chefs the entire year who have achieved so much throughout their careers, futher inspiring us students to achieve greatness.
Along with spending our time focusing on the very near future, the culinary and baking and pastry students of OCCI have been spending time with one another, enjoying the few short weeks we have left before our time together comes to an end. Bon fires at the beach, camping trips, roads trips, volleyball, BBQs, ect. Good luck to everyone in their upcoming quests.
