Wal-Mart Shinanagans (13 KB)

It started off as a short trip to Wal-Mart at approximately 10:50 p.m. When all of a sudden one of my roommates, Chloe, reached to her childhood and jumped inside the cart. She proceeded to grab things off the shelf as we all used to do as children while our parents weren’t watching. NOTE: Jenna, my other roommate, is the mother at this time. As Chloe reached for an avocado, Jenna decided to take action and slap her hand while yelling, “Don’t grab anything!” Chloe pretended to get upset and while doing so, a Wal-Mart associate began to laugh at the childish antics of the college students. Yet Chloe, ignored Jenna’s demands as she proceeded to take food and clothing off the shelves piling into the cart until her legs were nothing more than fifteen pairs of pants, food, and unnecessary items. It was then that Jenna looked grumpily at Chloe. Emily began to give out a devilish snicker while watching as Jenna began to tell Chloe, “Are you going to be able to go up to the cashier and tell him that you did not intend on buying any of these items and that he would have to put it all back?” Chloe looked at Jenna with doe like eyes and innocently stated, “I didn’t do it.” before begging Emily to stop Jenna from abusing her. And so began the epic adventure of “the family” putting away all of the items before heading to the cashier.

So, you are all probably wondering what this has to do with anything. Well, it is just to help remind you all, that time goes by and before you know it you are 20, 40, and then you are being called, “Grandma!” One of my favorite quotes is, “Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.” ~Elbert Hubbard
