OCCI would like to thank Southwestern Oregon Community for the support of our culinary teams that competed in the American Culinary Federation, Oregon State Junior Hot Food Competition, held in Medford, OR at South Medford High School this past Saturday.
We would like to announce our teams finished first and third, garnering gold and silver medals respectively. Although our teams have placed first in this competition in previous years this is the first year that the gold medal has been awarded to a team in the Oregon State Competition.
Along with the gold medals, OCCI received $3000 toward costs of our trip to compete at the Western Regional Conference in April, 2008.
