OCCI students show what they learned on European trip

Southwestern Oregon Community College Oregon Coast Culinary Institute Baking and Pastry Program students will be showing off some of their favorite recipes they learned on a recent trip to Europe.

Over the past couple of weeks, several OCCI Baking and Pastry Program students have been traveling around Europe visiting various bakeries and sampling European cuisine. When they return this week, they will be recreating breads, desserts and other entrees they encountered during the trip.

Students will present their dishes and breads, along with slideshow presentations from the trip, at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, at OCCI. Visitors will be able to sample.
