"This specialized accreditation is a voluntary action on the part of the institution that requires curriculum, faculty, resources, support staff, and organizational structure all meet or exceed quality standards."
Oregon Coast Culinary Institute is seeking accreditation from the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
According the the ACF website, “The primary function of the ACF is programmatic accreditation. This specialized accreditation is a voluntary action on the part of the institution that requires curriculum, faculty, resources, support staff, and organizational structure all meet or exceed quality standards.”
OCCI will undergo a self-evaluation and report their findings to the ACF. A fact-find team from ACF will then visit OCCI to verify compliance with their standards. The ACF grants accreditation to programs that meet the published standards.
